When: THURSDAY 11 Nov 2004 - 5:30pm till late We have some esteemed company this month, as John Rose is jetting in from the US to join us in the pub for an informal chat. John is currently working on Sun's J2SE project and he was the principal designer and implementer of the Java 1.1 language extensions, including inner classes. The evening will also have a distinctly Groovy flavour, as we are also joined by James Strachan and Guillaume Laforge, who are both actively involved (with me) on the specifications for JSR 241: The Groovy Programming Language. Note that this meetup is on a Thursday night, apologies to the regulars, but these are special guests... These people have said they will try to make it:
